Hotwire Hotel: 4* New York City (Midtown Central) Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel

Hello, first time user here. I'm trying to get a room in NYC for 11/15-11/17. I'm looking for 4* in either MTW, MTE, or TS. Tried using the rebidding strategies for Priceline that I read about here, and I've been unsuccessful. I had hoped to bid a max of $170 and be as successful as others who have posted (quite a few users seem to have gotten the Sheraton, W Times Square, etc. at slightly less than this price). Any advice or suggestions? Thanks.

Is the ESB zone an option for you this trip? HOTWIRE currently has a 4* hotel in this zone for just a little more than you have already bid at $176/nite with:

Business

Travel Accessible

Room Accessible

Roll-in Shower

I'll also note that there is a 4* hotel in the MTE zone for $181/nite with:

Smoke Free

Restaurant

Laundry

Travel Accessible

Bathroom Accessible

Roll-in Shower

Unfortunately neither of these properties have yet been reported to the board, but i'll point out that the MTW property also shows a 4.5/5.0 TA rating so i wouldn't be too concerned with quality for this one.
