Hi There!

I'm going to NY on the 17th of Dec to the 18th

Could you give me some advice or a bidding strategy on a 3* Hotel for Central Park South, Chelsea Area, Empire State Building Area, Hells Kitchen, Madison Square Garden, Midtown East & West, or Times Square?

Max bid 100$... Is it possible to get a Hotel with that?

My best guess for this property would be the Milford Plaza, but this is currently only 2* rated by PRICELINE, so if correct would explain why your bids for a 3* hotel up to $100 may fail, but this might be an option if you think this property could work for your needs.

iI tried your bidding strategy, but i haven't got a hotel with it.

because of the 3 star hotel at hotwire, i thought i might get a hotel by bidding.

i'll try the same strategy with a 2,5 star hotel tomorrow, lets see if this'll work out.

If you want to bid 2.5* you can bid right away, as lowering your star rating will eliminate the need to wait 24 hours from your previous bid attempts.

Tried the bidding strategy from above for a 2,5* and a 2* hotel, but didn't get a winning bid.

just a counteroffer for a 2* hotel for 121$.

went with the hotwire deal you wrote about. got the edison hotel.
