theinvestigator Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Going for 3* because I wanted nicer accommodations without the outrageous nightly parking fees of many 4* places. 3* have free parking, in my research.Also hoping to stay near the Gaylord Convention Center which is about 5 miles away.Began bid at $62 for 3* in Alexandria East. Saw "Try Right Now" bid revision offer for $78 from Priceline. Ignored this.Added National Harbor Zone, increased bid to $66. Rejected.Added Mt Vernon Zone, increased bid to $68. Accepted.
