Looking for hotel for 2 adults/2 kids in for 12/14 for 1 night. It's so expensive! But I'm seeing Hotwire 409/night. Amenities include free Internet, restaurant, Internet access, pet friendly, business center. Also accessible for deaf, accessible path, roll-in shower. Regular price listed as $589.

Any thoughts on the hotel?

Unfortunately, this property has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. A new amenity set for the Sheraton would be a guess, but it may also be a different hotel and/or one not yet reported to the board.

What would be your desired max budget per night for this stay and which zone/s would be acceptable?

We are heading in via Grand Central with 2 little kids. Plan is to see a show and an exhibit at the MoMA. So I was thinking midtown central/east but we could expand that a bit. I'd love to keep it under $500 for the night.

My guess for the MTC property in your first post would be the City Club Hotel.

My advice would be to save the $100/nite and take the 4* ESB property offered at $299/nite with:

... my guess for this one would be the St Giles The Court (assuming i have guessed correctly it's just 3 blocks to Grand Central)

Thanks. I'm note sure I'm happy with either of those options so now considering Midtown East, Midtown Central and Empire State Building Area.

For the 4* are you still see this property when searching for your dates and 2adults/2children as i'm currently seeing a 4* hotel in this zone with no amenities showing.
