Attempted to bid for a longer stay initially, but weekend rates are far higher. Succeeded at 110 Sunday through Friday.

Attempted to extend my stay for same rate, but it was unsuccessful because of the weekend (and higher rates).

I'll make an effort to extend my stay and we'll see what happens.

Oh, and bye the bye, the daily resort fee, in addition to taxes and fees, is now $30 and it'll be tacked on your bill when you check out of the hotel.

(It's not a PL thing, it's a hotel thing.)
