mike z Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Wanted a 3.5 or 4* in Arlington, Dupont Circle, or Crystal City (in that order of preference).Started at 4* and bid 80, 85, 88, and 90 while adding acceptable and no-chance rebid zones.Selected 3.5*, no luck at 70, added a rebid zone & increased to 75 and got a win - Renaissance Arlington Capital View which is actually in Crystal City. Never heard of it but reviews look decent and going rate is about 200/nt (Marine Corps Marathon over the weekend potentially driving up rates?) so at a glance, pleased with the outcome.This hotel isn't presently on the hotel list unless it changed brand recently.
