razor76 Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 Hi all, I was hoping someone could help with a strategy for a hotel on the 8th till 10th November. I'll be arriving at Penn Station so preferably anywhere around there would be great and I would prefer to pay around $140 a night, obviously the higher the star the better but it would have to be a minimum 3* and hopefully a 4*, not sure how possible this is though.Any help is much appreciated, hope I havent missed any key info out. Thanks, RR

razor76 Posted October 18, 2013 Author Report Posted October 18, 2013 My apologies I have done that and done some searches - seems quite expensive around the Midtown area unless I'm missing something. Over $250 a night for a 4* star near Penn Station, any advice?
thereuare Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 Seasonally this is an expensive time of year in NYC... sub-$150 is not seen that frequently during the Fall.Scan the Priceline New York forum and you'll see that while there are some wins in the mid/upper $100's, the majority of the purchases are $200+.Using MAPS and HOTELS.com hat is the best rate you're able to get thru conventional booking channels? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
