PRICELINE deals with multiple hotels in each zone at each star rating so there can easily be more than one 3* hotel in this zone. With PRICELINE you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for.

The hotel I was looking for is the Hyatt place in las olas downtown staying oct 25-27.

Any ideas ?

From the Priceline Hotel List the Hyatt Place is the onlyl 3* hotel reported to the board, but there could be others that are not yet reported, and if you do decide to bid 3* there is a chance (perhaps a good chance based upon what i'm currently seeing) that you are upgraded to a higher rated hotel. Also, be sure to read the comments at the top of the hotel list.

HOTWIRE has what appears to be the Hyatt Place offered for your dates at $129/nite, if this is of interest at this price.
