Please help me ID the following property: 4-star hotel in downtown Dallas. 85% recommended. My dates of stay are 6-10 November. Hotwire shows a price of $97.

Amenities:

Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Self service laundry, Internet access

Accessibility: Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf

I'm guessing the Magnolia.

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool, and then click the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Searching for your dates this is what i see for the 4* hotel offered in this zone:

.. if this is the complete list of what you're seeing, an upgrade and new amenity set for the Magnolia Hotel would be my best guess as well. Even if we're both wrong, with a 4.5/5.0 TA rating i wouldn't be too concerned with quality with this one.

Thanks for your response. Yes, when using the board's Hotwire Easy View those are the amenities I'm seeing.

For some weeks, I've been trying to under-bid on this property using the board's PRICELINE link. I've gone as high as $92. Any sense if this will come down?

HOTWIRE's $97 rate is a bit higher than I'd hoped to pay, but with free breakfast and internet this seems like a pretty good deal.

I believe this property is 3.5* rated by PRICELINE so you're not comparing apples-to-apples.

Indeed, this was the Magnolia. I just booked using the board's HOTWIRE link at $97/night. I believe you'll want to update the board's hotwire list when you have a chance; this is a now listed as a four-star hotel.
