Priceline Hotel: San Francisco 3.5 or 4* 2013/10/17 suggestion

Hi,

I'm looking to bid on priceline for the first time for a 3.5 or 4 star hotel in San Francisco for one night, 2013/10/17. I have a car so getting a place with parking is an extra bonus. I'm hoping to not be too far outside the main city such as the airport hotels. Is there a certain strategy I should employ to maximize savings? Any idea what a reasonable price would be? Thanks so much.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Which zone(s) are you willing to accept? What is your maximum budget for this stay? Are you willing to pay more for a 4* hotel (vs. a 3.5*) OR is the goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this trip?
