I am looking to find a decent place within a good budget for my 10 days trip to newyork. Am travelling for my girl friend and flights has killed the budget a bit so am looking for a good bargain

My maximum budget is: 110 USD after taxes per night.

Hoping for an area away from brooklyn. Any of the following areas will be great:

Midtown east, midtown west empire state building, upper west side, downtown financial district, central park south, times square, chelsea area, Long island city, kew gardens.

On the bidding side of PRICELINE there us no zone named 'Kew Gardens'... which zone is it that you're referring to here?

This comes to about $90/nite bid price which unfortunately is not realistic for these dates. Using out sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com, what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel thru 'regular' hotel rates?
