ditchqueen Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Hello,I will be traveling to NYC and staying the 15th-18th of October. We will be traveling into Penn station an shopping at the Garment district. My friend wants to stay near Penn station, but Im cheap and rather have the hotel more cost effective, plus the best deal seems to be the Hotel Penn, which Id rather not stay at. I felt that at least by staying near the Garment district, may be easier because if we purchase stuff we probably wont want to lug it around. So I need help. Where would I find better prices hotels an where should I look? So far I have been looking in Midtown West- Times square and Chelsea Village. Should I also look in Empire state? Where would I have better luck finding a $200 a night or below hotel? Am I better off waiting to bid tomorrow? Thanks
thereuare Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding!Have you been to NYC and/or shopped the Garment District before as most of the stores here are 'wholesale only' and don't sell individual items to retail. What is the minimum star rating you're willing to accept? PRICELINE EXPRESS has a 3* hotel in the Times Square zone (Pets Allowed, Restaurant... my guess would be the Paramount) for $206/nite... but using the discount code linked in my signature takes an additional 5% OFF which brings this down to $195 and within your budget.Does the above work for your needs? If not, what is the minimum star rating you're willing to accept for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. ditchqueen Posted October 13, 2013 Author Report Posted October 13, 2013 The hotel is gone. the cheapest I see now in PRICELINE EXPRESS deals is 243star rating really doesn't matter to me, as long as it is clean and near penn station somewhat.Any idea what times square theater district- pets, food, 3 star is?<dead link removed>
thereuare Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Hotel specific links from both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links contain sessions and won't work on any computer other than your own (and even then will expire after a short while). For help with the current PRICELINE EXPRESS offer please list the full details of the offer and we'll have a look. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
