Hi,

This is my first topic in this forum. My husband and I are heading to DC from 10/23 to 10/26. We're interested in the following areas in Washington DC

Foggy Bottom

White House Downtown

Dupont Circle

I've been bidding every night, but to no avail. The last time I've reached $97 and priceline still rejected my offer. I'm looking for a 4 1/2* or 4* hotel.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Have you used our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com to check conventional rates for these dates... what is the best rate you have found, as i don't think that under $100 is in the right ballpark for these dates at the moment, i think you're more likely looking in the $140-$160 area.

I had to change the dates to 11/7 - 11/9 as I wasn't able to find reasonable prices :). Earlier this morning, I booked a hotel in the Capitol Hill area. It's the Washington Marriott At Metro Center for $80/night. I'm very happy, the hotel seems very nice. I used your PRICELINE link.
