Elliekeuh Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Hello, I would like to go to London for 2 nights in November (22/11 - 24/11). I would like to be in the Paddington - Bayswater - Nothing Hill area but I cannot find which hotel I'm likely to win. Has anyone got any idea as to which hotel it is likely to be? And at which price I should start bidding. I'm willing to pay a maximum of 350$ for the 2 nights.Tnx in advance.GreetingEllen
AaronJB Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)There is no guarantee as to which hotel you may win out of the possibilities - if you bid 4* for the above zone, for example, you have to be willing to accept any of the 4*'s in that zone. You can see the hotels that have been reported to the board in this zone here: Priceline Hotel List Other Countries. However, as noted at the top of that list, new hotels are reported to the board often, so there is the possibility you may get something not on the list. Let us know your thoughts - if you are willing to accept any of the 4* possibilities - and we would be happy to offer suggestions.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Elliekeuh Posted October 16, 2013 Author Report Posted October 16, 2013 I have no idea how taxes/fees would be, but i would like them included in the 300$ if possible.
thereuare Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Enter 'London, England' and your dates into the search box on the top right corner of the board.Choose this zone, 4 star, and enter $250 as the bid amount... then click NEXT. On the next page you'll see the total for the room 'all-in'. If it's less than $300 click the BACK button on your browser and increase your bid be an appropriate amount and repeat until the total is close to your $300/nite limit... what is that bid amount? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. vanpoodle Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 You can also go to PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals for your dates and start bids $10-$25 less than posted for zones that would be acceptable and slowly work your way up until something gets accepted. Things seem to get accepted $5-$20 less than what Express Deals has.
