tawnibelle Posted October 8, 2013 Report Share Posted October 8, 2013 We took a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal chance on a 4* hotel in Costa Mesa, CA for our Disney trip and ended up with the Wyndham Avenue of the Arts for $72/night. The hotel was lovely and we actually were upgraded to a junior suite by the front desk attendant who was out of double beds and noticed we had our kids with us. Excellent customer service always cheers me up :-) It's 2 blocks from South Coast plaza, several restaurants and 20-30 mins from Disney. Great deal and great stay! I did use the HOTWIRE link for my initial bidding and final buy. I tried for 2 days to get $72 on a 4* in the Disneyland area but no luck, I wasn't willing to risk a 3 1/2 * in that area, because some of the hotels are pretty bad. Link to comment
