My wining bid was 43.00 payed $56.26 after tax

Not sure if this is a good price for 2.5 stars?

as one can get this room for 69USD on the hotel night direct.

My budget was 50$ max for a room per night after tax.

I choose one zone and set the hotel stars to 2.5 and offered 30USD bid to start with

then increased zones and kept on increasing bids for 3-4dollars until about 7th attempt or so

If there is any advice on how bid better please help.

I need more nights in Denver from 10 to 14th

Can I get a better deal if bid properly?

Should I wait till last moment and bid on day before the stay?
