Hotwire Hotel: New in the forum and to Hotwire/Priceline

Hi

I'm new to BB Hotwire and Price line, looking for Vegas hotel(s) for June 2014.

I usually plan my vacation in advance (more than 6 months ahead of time) - as airlines tickets prices are low (cross Atlantic). However, hotel deals are more available much later (regular deals through the hotels sites)

I was wondering if you have any information/tips about Hotwire availability and price changes for hotels ( specifically in Vegas) throughout time?

When do you think is it the best time to book hotel through Hotwire (taking into account it non refundable)?

Also, I was looking at vacation packages at Hotwire and I've noticed that the Luxor is currently rated there as *3.5 - does it means it is the current Luxor *rate (in the BB hotel list it is under *4)?

Purchase timing is discussed in the FAQ. I would not wait until the very last minute, but you certainly have time.
