McClure77 Posted October 5, 2013 Author Report Posted October 5, 2013 Hmm....ok. So, in the past, I have asked questions and then gone on to purchase using the links you provide so that you can be sure to get something for the service you provide. But I can't recall ever having to come here to do the initial searches, and then click on both links to PRICELINE AND HOTWIRE even though I'm only interested in one of them and I already have the information at hand? (those are the both links I see) even though I already have the information that I was asking about. Has the procedure changed in this way? I'm a little confused.
thereuare Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 We often spend a lot of time trying to identify a HOTWIRE property and then the user ultimately uses PRICELINE and forgets to click a board link beforehand (or we type out a long PRICELINE bidding strategy and the user ultimately uses HOTWIRE) that we now ask that users click each link before posting.I can assure you that the time it takes us to research hotels and/or suggest a bidding strategy is far more than the time it takes you to click two links in a post. ;) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
McClure77 Posted October 6, 2013 Author Report Posted October 6, 2013 Hmm, it's an interesting way to look at it I guess, but to me the value is lost if the transaction takes so long that the deal disappears while I'm trying to figure out what it is. Since it has, this is now a moot point.
thereuare Posted October 6, 2013 Report Posted October 6, 2013 If you use the requested links for all your searches there won't be any delay in having your posts responded to.I don't know anyone that has ever missed a deal based upon the one second it takes to click a link, but if this is a concern of yours, you can use our BiddingHelper.com for 'one stop shopping'. ;) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
cwstarks Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 I'm looking for the same answer but for the same hotel in December......did you ever get any feedback that you could use?

McClure77 Posted October 9, 2013 Author Report Posted October 9, 2013 Bid up from 50, was told I could get it for 62, so came back today and bid 60 and was successful. There is a resort fee attached, but as of yet I am not sure what that amount is.
