dckenneth Posted September 30, 2013 Report Posted September 30, 2013 Hello...Can I please get some help. I need to book a hotel around the central park south area. I wouldn't mind CPS, MTW, MTE, or Time Square area. Would you please be able to give me some realistic bidding strategies? I would prefer a 4* but wouldn't mind it if it's a 3 to 3 1/2. Any help would be appreciated.
AaronJB Posted September 30, 2013 Report Posted September 30, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)What would be your desired max bid per night for this stay?Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

dckenneth Posted October 1, 2013 Author Report Posted October 1, 2013 I'm looking at the most of probably $180 a night.
thereuare Posted October 1, 2013 Report Posted October 1, 2013 I believe this may be a difficult win within your $180 budget, but there are some possible options nearby.I'm seeing on HOTWIRE what i believe to be the Yotel Times Square for $176/nite which is a 3.5* rated hotel in the MSG zone that gets good reviews (4.5/5.0 on TA)... this property has not yet been reported to the board thru PRICELINE.Would the above be acceptable? If so, given the high reviews do you want to take this offer OR try bidding on PRICELINE for any hotel in the zone(s) that you select at the minimum star rating you choose? If you want to try bidding, did you want to include other zones to increase your chances (such as MSG, Chelsea and/or ESB) and/or what star level and maximum bid should we start with? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. (and please click each of these previous links before replying)Let us know the information above and we'll advise accordingly.
