Had many prices rejected checking 4 and 4.5 star hotels in the Midtown West/Times Square/Central Park South region (using the star trick to rebid), bumping the price up $5 each time. The previous bid to this failed at $235.

For those curious, my max bid for 4.5 stars in these three regions failed at $290 today.
