Stormageddon Posted September 28, 2013 Author Report Posted September 28, 2013 Would not let me edit the post, so I am just replying instead. After some additional looking I think it may be the best western burbank airport although not 100%. The number of reviews was much higher on the secret hot deals page than the hotel page on hotwire which threw me off.
thereuare Posted September 28, 2013 Report Posted September 28, 2013 From the Hotwire Hotel List (look under 'LOS ANGELES >> Studio City' this is believed to match previous reports for the Best Western Burbank Airport Inn so that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Stormageddon Posted October 1, 2013 Author Report Posted October 1, 2013 Howdy, just found these boards a few days ago and already received some great help. However, I decided not to go with that deal and have a question about broad strategy. I am looking at staying in LA, specifically N. Hollywood, Beverly Hills (90036) and surrounding areas from Oct 27-31(Sun-Thurs), 3-4 stars, and free parking if possible (since saving a bit is pointless if you have to turn around and pay $30/day for parking). As it is a weekday stay and as far as I know not a generally busy travel week am I better off waiting or do I need to start bidding now? Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
thereuare Posted October 1, 2013 Report Posted October 1, 2013 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread... once you make a purchase use the EDIT TO REPORT WIN button on the lower right corner of the board and your thread will automatically be moved (if necessary) to the correct section of the board. There is no way to know if rates will come down, or move higher, between now and your stay. As well, there is no way to bid on a hotel that offers free parking... if you need to know if this (or any other amenities) are offered at the property then you would be better served by using HOTWIRE or PRICELINE EXPRESS and choosing a property that shows the Free Parking amenity. If you decide to move forward by bidding on PRICELINE, the highest star rating offered in the North Hollywood-Studio City zone is 3*... what would be your maximum bid for a 3 star hotel in this zone?Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
