I made a mistake and bid $15 for an economy car. (I always confuse economy w/compact - they're both small, but which is smaller?) When my bid was accepted, they offered me an upgrade to compact for $1/day, so I took it. Pretty sure I could have gotten it for $14. Still saved $20 for the week vs renting on Hotwire. :P
