Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Westchester County (Tarrytown - Elmsford) Doubletree Hotel Tarrytown

I've been trying to get a priceline win in the Tarrytown area, but nothing is working...

I've got up to $105 and as low as 2 1/2 stars.

Any advice for this area for a 1 nighter on October 12/13 ?

I'm not familiar with the area, but would like to stay on the Tarrytown side, and not have to do multiple bridge crossings.

Rates in the area look high for these dates... using our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel in this area?

What about PRICELINE's 'Rye - White Plains' zone? There is a 3* PRICELINE EXPRESS for $129/nite which would seem to be a decent deal relative to your already failed bids up to $105 for a 2.5* in a nearby zone.

I'm not too sure with the area, I'm going to book a direct reservation with the La Quinta (2 star) for 109/night.

I'll keep playing around with PRICELINE to see if I get a 2 1/2 star.

It seems that there's been a change in the area.

Using the betterbidding link to PRICELINE, I was able to get the Doubletree Hotel Tarrytown 3½ star for $100/night...

This is much better than the La Quinta!

Express Deal has it for $105, tried at $100 and succeeded...List is currently $179.
