Poked around on the board and gathered that $46 and $51 were good starting 3* bids for Newark/Meadowlands. Was denied for Saturday, Oct. 29. Any further advice? I'm attending a function at the Sheraton Meadowlands (E. Rutherford). It's booked.

Thanks. Tried again. Went down to 2* @ 62. My priorities are ease of access to the Sheraton Meadowlands and price ($80ish).

Hotwire has a 3* for $78 which is likely the Crowne Plaza which is very close to the Sheraton (although you'd need a car to get from one to the other)

Does that work or do you want to try to do better on Priceline?
