Angostura_de Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Hi,I am just getting into priceline and won my first offer in Orlando. Next stop will be Cocoa Beach. I looked into the 3 star hotel list and there are only oceanfront hotels. This would be great. But there is also a 3 star Four point by Sheraton at Cocoa Beach. I dont want this hotel. Are there any experience with bidding in cocoa Beach at 3 star Hotels. Is the Four Points a possible choice if going with NYOP ?Otherwise I have to book the La Quinta directly for about 90 $/night.Thanx for your answersAngostura_de

Angostura_de Posted September 23, 2013 Author Report Posted September 23, 2013 Hi,I read everything and looked at the express deals:Rated 8.0out of 10 (or higher)Guaranteed Amenities: Outdoor Swimming PoolBusiness CenterCheck In: Mon Nov 11, 2013Check Out: Wed Nov 13, 2013This could be the Hilton, who knows. But I want to use the NYOP option. There will be no such hints. Therefore I need your help. If I use NYOP how big is the chance to get the Four Point by Sheraton ?ThnaxAngostura
thereuare Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 You can see all hotels reported to the board i this zone in the Priceline Hotel List for Florida. HOWEVER, see the comments at the top of the hotel list that the lists should not be considered complete as they only contain hotels reported to the board and there could always be others that are not yet reported, recently added, upgraded, or downgraded. You can't bid on, or avoid, a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
