Llij28
Thanks so much for being here. This is a wonderful service! I, as a newbie, have already goofed horrendously on my first bidding. On a re-bid, I inadvertently changed my 4* to a 3* AND changed my zone to Midway, which included the 3*. I ended up at a Holiday Inn Select by Midway and was pretty upset - we want to be downtown. I called Priceline and for a $25.oo fee I can re-bid.So, now I need your help:Dates: Oct 20 -23 (3 nights)One room, 2 peopleNMAWould like to stay under $110Would do a 3* or 4*Thanks SO much!Llij Link to comment

thereuare
What is more important, star rating or price? (ie- would you prefer your maximum bid for a 4* hotel or a lower price for a 3*?)... although i took a quick look at rates for this stay and both may be a difficult proposition.Let us know and we'll give it a shot. Llij28
Thanks for responding! 3* is fine. I'd even settle for 2.5 if it is as nice as a Courtyard.I'll be looking forward to hearing from you.Llij Link to comment
thereuare
I'd even settle for 2.5 if it is as nice as a CourtyardIf you bid 2.5* you have to be willing to accept any 2.5* rated (according to priceline) in the zoneAt the 3* level you have one re-bid zone available (feel free to confirm it with the board if you'd like)...Select 4* NMA...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110.I'm rooting for you, but i'd be surprised if you find success for your complete stay at $110 or less. AaronJB
That's a very busy set of days. If it's not possible to get something on PL, I see the newly renovated Hotel Indigo in the very nice Gold Coast neighborhood for $169 on Travelocity"]Travelocity, which puts it substancially under the regular rate cost of most downtown hotels for those dates. Orbitz has it for $179.I hope you get something via PL, but if that doesn't work, this appears to be the best regular rate (price-wise, and for a pretty nice new-ish hotel) thing going.
