Priceline Hotel: HNL - Waikiki

Trying to secure a 4* in Waikiki....have bid using three rebid zones up to $195.00 for January 12-15, 2014. Should I wait a while and bid closer to the date or will I have to bid higher? I can get the Outrigger and other hotels from $230 plus on line at this time.

On HOTWIRE, I'm seeing a 4* in the Waikiki Marina area for $165 and a 4* in Waikiki Beach for $185. Are you seeing anything of interest when searching on PRICELINE Express?

You do certainly have a bit of time, so I wouldn't go much higher at the moment or would look around at other (HOTWIRE, etc) options.

I am using Airport, Diamondhead and Executive as my rebid zones....at this time only want to stay in the Waikiki area if we can get the right price (have stayed at the Outrigger on the Beach before not using Priceline but through a hotel special).

No haven't been bidding on the Marina or Citycentre areas....just Waikiki Beach at this time.

Tried bidding again...up to $190 and no luck for a 4 star in Waikiki beach. Checked out Hotwire and they had a hot rate deal for a 4 star, Waikiki Beach Area for $181-

free internet, near beach, smoke free rooms, self service laundry, fitness centre, business centre, pool(s), golf nearby. Do you know what hotel this could be - don't want to have to pay a resort fee on top of this rate.

I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post. HOTWIRE has a new interface which is not currently showing the complete set of amenities at the usual point of the search process. Can you please run a new search through bord's BiddingHelper.com on top of the page. Please copy and paste the amenities and price you'll see in the Easy View tab and we'll have a look at this.
