leni21 Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 Hello all!I'm looking for a hotel in Philadelphia for 10/13/13 for 1 night in either Center City west or Center city east through hotwire. My problem is that I am afraid of ending up in a hotel in University City( i do not want to take the train or drive..i.e. Sheraton Society Hill University City) or in a hotel by rt 95(Hilton Inn @ Penn- and not be able to walk across highway 95). My ideal location is by City Hall. I see a 4.5* on the hotel list for center city west and it says it would be Sofitel. If I book this, will it always be the Sofitel, since it is the only one described as a 4.5* hotel?I would be fine with another property at 3.5*, 4*, as long as i have a better chance of getting the location I wish..city hall, but it is a gamble if it lists hotels such as hilton, sheraton, that have hotels in the further locations I wouldn't want. Any advice/help would be appreciated thanks!!!

thereuare Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 Do your search with our BiddingHelper.com and then use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab... copy/paste the amenities associated with the 4.5* property in a reply to this thread and we will have a look at this offer. You may be using the BiddingHelper.com but it doesn't appear that you're using the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and therefore are not listing the complete set of amenities that are associated with each of these HOTWIRE properties.4.5 star is $107- center city west.4*- $96, 95% center city west2* center city east, $104, 60%Is there really a scenario where you would pay $104 for a 2* hotel with a 60% recommendation from previous guests when there are similarly priced (or cheaper) 4* and 4.5* hotels which much better reviews?? thereuare Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 4.5* Center City West / University City , $112, 95%• Free Internet• Pet friendly• Smoke Free Rooms• Fitness Center• Restaurant(s)• Business Center• High-Speed Internet Access• Accessible for the deaf• Accessible path of travel• In-room accessibility• Wheelchair accessible• Accessible bathroom• Roll-in showerIs the Sofitel still the ideal property, as the amenities above match previous reports for the Sofitel and that would be my best guess for this one (as well, it looks to be one of the best values of all those posted based upon star rating to price ratios)If you still want to pursue the others, have you checked the Hotwire Hotel List for possible matches? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
