Hello,

I'm a first time hotwire user and new to this site. I'm a college student so budget is very essential to me and my friends. We are looking for 2 nights, Friday 10/11 and Saturday 10/12. I would like to get Caesar's or if my friends are willing to spend a tad more, maybe Cosmo/Aria or Venetian/Wynn.

I found a 4 star, South Strip for 137 a night

Amenities:

Free Parking, Free Internet, Resort, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Golf Nearby

It is 80% recommended.

20$ resort fee.

4 star North Area - 130/night

Amenities: Free Parking Resort Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby

25$ Resort Fee

3.7 Miles from Airport

90% Recommended

5 star - North Area - 207/night

Free Parking Resort Suite Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access

20$ resort fee

95% recommended.

If you could please help give some insight as to which hotels these might be. Caesars would be awesome (I've always wanted to stay there and I've been in one of those 3 story suites they have up on the 50th floor or whatever, and it was epic). From what I've been reading, the 5 star could be Venetian/Palazzo or Encore/Wynn. Both wouldn't be a bad deal at 207 but that's still pretty high for college kids. It's fall break that weekend which is why the prices are so high. I have a family member who works for Marriott so I can usually book the Cosmo for around 100-150 but the dates are blacked out and no way I'm going to pay 460 a night.

Thank You For your help.

PS: I did use the HOTWIRE link provided.

Hello,

I'm new to this site as well as using Priceline/Hotwire. I have a family member who works for Marriott so typically I can get their employee rate with friends and family (I booked Cosmo for 115 during spring break but the dates are blacked out since it is the weekend of Fall Break). My friends and I are college student so budget is crucial since we are probably going to have to fork up the dough to get into these Vegas Clubs. I found 2 hotels that I'm trying to figure out a 4 and a 5 star.

5 Star - Las Vegas Strip North

Guest Favorite - Rated 8.0/10

Guaranteed Amenities: Indoor or Outdoor Pool

Free Parking

Restaurant

Business Center

Casino

Fitness Center

Mandatory Fee of 56$

4 Star - Las Vegas Strip North

Rated 7.0/10

Guaranteed Amenities: Outdoor Swimming Pool

Free Parking

Restaurant

Business Center

Casino

Fitness Center

Mandatory fee: 56$

I'm hoping to find Caesars or Bellagio. Or 5 star Venetian/Palazzo/Encore/Wynn but 4 star budget would be ideal. I've beens seeing prices range from 260-460 for 4 and 5 star hotels. (260 was venetian on some random site).

I used the PRICELINE link provided. Thank your time and help.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. If/when you report your win using the EDIT TO REPORT WIN button on the lower right corner of this page, the thread will automatically be moved to the correct section of the board (if necessary).

FEW THINGS TO NOTE before we get started:

Are you looking for more than double occupancy per room? PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request (or there could be an additional fee involved, which is likely in Vegas, given that most hotels are now charing more (even when booked direct) for rooms with 2beds vs. 1bed and/or for any occupancy more than two).

If this is not a risk you're willing to accept, HOTWIRE may still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc)

Before we attempt to identify any of the hotels above, please speak with your friends so you have a firm budget in mind, know exactly how many rooms/guests you'll be (as HOTWIRE offers can change if/when you change the number of rooms and/or occupancy), and so that we don't spend time trying to identify any hotels that that aren't within your budget and not a consideration for purchase. Also, let us know once you're ready to commit to a purchase as the offers can change quickly (especially in Vegas) so you should know the budget constraints of your friends, as well as what they want from the stay, so that you're ready to act should a hotel you are interested in appear for your dates.

Lastly, for the HOTWIRE hotels I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool, and then click the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?

Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

I'm not seeing anymore of the deals I originally saw. Shouldn't have waited the weekend I suppose. I did find a 4.5 Star on Strip South for 250$ when I used the helper.

Any idea as to which one that may be?
