Stay was this week- night of 9/23.

Ended up buying the express deal for 2* in Empire State Building area for $276/night - more than I was looking to spend, but this week is fashion week in nyc and the UN was in session, leading to higher hotel prices across the board.

Ended up getting the Comfort Inn Manhattan - 42 West 35th Street, and was pleased- room was more than adequate and there is free wifi and a free continental breakfast. I didn't see this hotel on the hotel list for NYC, so wanted to share my experience.

I did my searches/purchase through betterbidding.com's PRICELINE links.
