thereuare Posted September 16, 2013 Report Posted September 16, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! What is the purpose of this stay and your maximum budget per nite... as the McCormick Place - South Loop - Soldier Field zones is not really considered convenient or well located unless you are attending a conference or have some other specific reason to stay in this particular area. Is this the case OR are you a 'tourist' in town?Best guess for the 3.5* Gold Coast property would be the Hotel Indigo Chicago Gold Coast... for the 3* Grant Park property my guess would be the Essex Inn.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
aperolli Posted September 16, 2013 Author Report Posted September 16, 2013 Thanks for the fast reply!I am visting for 4 days with my girlfriend and I would like sth walkable to the main tourist area. My budget would be around $100/night. Which one would you recommend? Should I try and book immidiately or wait to see if sth else comes up..
AaronJB Posted September 16, 2013 Report Posted September 16, 2013 The McCormick Place would - as noted - definitely not be recommended if you are looking to be within walking distance of attractions.Personally, I'd suggest the 3.5* Gold Coast, which would likely be the Indigo. That is in the very nice Gold Coast area, which is a few minutes walk North of the top end of the North Michigan Ave area. There is also a subway station a couple of blocks away. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
