chirdent Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 Hello-I am looking for a hotel in NYC the 10/09/2013 to the 10/15/2013. i am interessted on this zone:Empire State Building AreaHell's KitchenMadison Square GardenMidtown EastMidtown WestI'd like to stay above 4 stars, and would be thrilled to get something $200/night all-inclusive of taxes, which would be me around $175/night bidding price I believe. Is this rate possible? Can I do better? Any advice on bidding strategies? Should I broaden my zones? Thanks in advance for any help!
thereuare Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! We will suggest a strategy for whatever you'd like, but at current rates i think you'll like need to be closer to a $225-$250 bid price as opposed to a $200 all-in price, for these dates.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll try to advise further. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. tigerlilly253 Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 Hello - I've got similar dates 10/11-10/14 for NYC and wanted to know if bidding $170 for a 3* was reasonable? We don't really have a specific zone that we're looking at, but would like to be more centrally located than the Financial District. New to New York City and new to Priceline so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
