But I think you're looking around $275 for your dates in this area.Is this the only zone you're willing to stay in? What is your budget/night before tax/fee's?Let us know and we'll help you with a bidding strategy. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases and searches.Yellowdog.
Romelle Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 In the header above is "Hotel Lists". There you can see the hotels other members have successfully bid and reported here. Choose "Other Countries" from the Priceline list, then London, and then your desired zone. One way to get an idea as to where to bid is to check out some of the rates from those hotel web sites, and then start your bidding much lower. Priceline suggests one can get a 40 to 60% savings. Actually, in slow times there are a few instances of even better than this. And in busy times the savings can be much more minimal, if at all. But it is still a good idea to know what direct purchase from the hotel would cost, as it keeps one from both over-bidding and having unreasonable expectations.A better way is to link into PRICELINE from here and check out the PRICELINE EXPRESS deals. A successful bid tends to be a little less than these.Romelle
