Hotwire Hotel: Help Identify (& Recommend) Hotel

Looking for a 4* and up hotel for a first time trip to Chicago; based on past posts it seems the Magnificent Mile North - River North and MMN - water tower are the area's to stay looking for shopping/food/nightlife.

On hotwire seeing these hotels (all in $CAD):

MMA - River North 4* for $190 90% Recommended

Amenities

Pet friendly

Indoor pool(s)

Fitness Center

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

Spa Services

MMN- Water Tower 4.5* for $234 90% recommended

Amenities

Would prefer to keep budget around $250 or less but really just looking for good value. Any thoughts? Thanks, Joe

Please change the drop down menu on the top right of HOTWIRE's page to United States and the currency dropdown to US Dollars. Then continue to search HOTWIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Once you're ready to purchase stay on the US version of their site and simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase.

Additionally, the Saturday is a little more expensive than the other days - if you were to split your stay you may be able to get a somewhat better overall average and/or a better hotel for part of the stay.

In USD I see 4* MM River North 90% recommended hotel for $179 regular price $276 with these amenities:

There is also now a 5* showing MM North- Water tower 90& recommended for $222 regular price $327 with these amenities:

I was looking for all 4 nights, there were two other hotels that came up as well but I just posted the 2 I thought were more appealing.

The issue is that neither I, nor AaronJB, are seeing either of these hotels offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates.

Are you still seeing both of these when searching HOTWIRE for your Oct 3-7, 1room/2adults/0children?

Sorry I'm not sure what is different but here is what I'm seeing right now; hotwire Oct 3-7, 1 room/2adults, chose 4* and up in MMA river north and MMA Water Tower Areas:

a 5* hotel in MMA- River North 95% recommended for $200/night

You may be getting served a 'test' page that HOTWIRE is experimenting with and not seeing the complete list of amenities... if you searching using our BiddingHelper.com and then look at the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab, do you see more amenities for the 2nd/3rd properties? Also, please confirm the star rating and room rate per nite for each (as the prices you're quoting i see for the 4.5* properties... the 4* hotels are cheaper then your last post)
