thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! The South Strip hotel is a match for the Luxor and the North Strip hotel is a match for the Treasure Island, so those would be our best guesses for each.Given the price of the above i'd consider the Monte Carlo at $191/nite a better option. :) Let us how how it goes or if we can be of further help. kfrierun
Thank you for the response!! Do you think if I wait i will get a better offer? I know this is a gamble (no pun intended) but someone more familiar with how these bid search engines work might give better advice!!Thanks again, Link to comment
thereuare
Your stay is only a month away, so i don't think that you'll see a tremendous drop in prices between now and then (which may be the case if your stay was 5-6+ months away)I think one of them was $189 and the other was $289 (i forget which was which), but either way i think that the Monte Carlo above for $191 is better (and cheaper than each when looking at the net rate after fees!)To boot, the Monte Carlo link above is cancellable up until 72 hours before your check-in date, so you can reserve that and then if you do see Hotwire rates drop substantially you can cancel and re-book thru Hotwire.Let us know what you decide. kfrierun
sorry, i am confused by your remark below. I thought you said one was Treasure Island 4* North Strip - $293 and the other was Luxor 4* South Strip for $198. I don't think i got a Monte Carlo, unless you thought one of them was Monte Carlo and did not say... I do not know if I am that excited about Luxor, so if you think it is monte carlo instead that's great!! thanks again. I will keep the board up with my choice. :) Link to comment
thereuare
Do you see a link below this line that reads "monte carlo"Monte Carlo <-- should be a link hereIf not, turn off Norton Internet Security (dump it completely for that matter, for it was just about to cost you money rather than save you money!) or at the very least add www.betterbidding.com to your 'allow' list as per the instructions here: NORTON FIXThen re-read this thread and see if the links re-appear and things make a bit more sense. kfrierun
You were right about Norton blocking. That is a good note for others - Norton Internet Security might prevent you from seeing helpful links posted by the administrator and others. Ultimately, I booked the Monte Carlo through EasyClickTravel (the link you included). What a great deal - $191 per night vs. $239 - $259 per night! You have been an incredible resource - Thanks!!!
