Viviane Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 In express deal in priceline shows a 3* hotel for $214 in Hell's Kitchen area. Which hotel can be? In the list in this site doesn't have any one with 3*, online 4*. I think Hliday Inn or Confort Inn.
AaronJB Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)SO that we can research the listing, please provide the date/s of travel, amenities showing with the listing and price per night in USD$. Thanks! :)Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Viviane Posted September 9, 2013 Author Report Posted September 9, 2013 My dates are october 14 - 21. U$ 214 per night. The amenities are free internet in room, free breakfast, business center, fitness center.Thank you.
AaronJB Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but my guess would be the Holiday Inn Express West side.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 Did you also see the 4* hotel in this zone for $208/nite?There is also a 4* hotel in the MTE zone on PRICELINE EXPRESS for $255/nite - 10% discount code in my signature = $230/niteWhat are your needs for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Viviane Posted September 10, 2013 Author Report Posted September 10, 2013 I didn't see the 4* hotel for U$ 208/nite. It would be very good, but I looked for it and I didn't find. Can you see? 4* hotel in the MTE zone I found it, but it's not good for me, because I did a pre-reservation in another site a few months ago and the price is the same. Thank you.
thereuare Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 Unfortunately that property is no longer offered. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Viviane Posted September 11, 2013 Author Report Posted September 11, 2013 I saw in PRICELINE EXPRESS a 3,5* hotel in Empíre Sate Buildind zone, in period october 14-21. The amenities are free internet, restaurant, fitness center, 7+. What hotel can be?I noticed that this hotel is available from ipad only. Is this normal? Thanks Viviane
thereuare Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 I just searched using our BiddingHelper.com and in the PRICELINE EXPRESS tab i see this property, and THIS LINK should take you to the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer. Please use our BiddingHelper.com or the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board for all your bidding, searching, and travel purchases. The Courtyard New York Manhattan/Fifth Avenue has previously been seen with this amenity set, but these amenities are very common for NYC, and i suspect that it may actually be a different property... i'm going to guess this may be the Courtyard New York Manhattan/Herald Square.Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Viviane Posted September 11, 2013 Author Report Posted September 11, 2013 It's very interesting what you said about balance the days. I have done a research only the first day and the price is much better! When I add days and days the price increased. Is it possible to buy days in different moments?
AaronJB Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 You can buy part of your stay and the rest of your stay as separate purchases, but you may also get two different hotels. You could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Viviane Posted September 16, 2013 Author Report Posted September 16, 2013 I have done bidds for 4* with no sucess in this zone and all zones near it. I started with U$ 150,00. I add U$ 10 and continued. I have tried U$ 210,00 with no success. More than this is not possible for me because I had a reservation in a 3,5* Hotel for U$ 1926,00 for this period and I can cancel until 3 days before the date.I really would like to get Element Times Square Hotel, and I have tried 3,5* in the Madison Square Convention, but I have no sucess. In this case I would like to pay until U$ 1926,00. What do you suggest can I do? Is this possible?Thank you.
thereuare Posted September 16, 2013 Report Posted September 16, 2013 Are HK and MSG the only zones which you have bid? Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option?Where is your 3.5* back-up reservation? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searhces too! Viviane Posted September 16, 2013 Author Report Posted September 16, 2013 I have bid all zones HK, MSG, CPS, ESB, ME, MW, TS, UE, UW.About splitting my priceline bid, I really don't want to switch hotel during my stay. The hotel that I have a reservation is Room Mate Grace.I don't know if I have to wait to bid again. In priceline express deals have a 4*, rating 9, gest favorite (what this mean?), free internet in public areas, restaurant, business center, fitness center, U$ 240,00. Which hotel can be? Thank you.

Viviane Posted September 16, 2013 Author Report Posted September 16, 2013 Times Square - Theatre District. If the hotel is very good I would pay it.
thereuare Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 The 9.0/10.0 user review rating should tell you that it is very good ;)The amenities are common for a 4* hotel in NYC, but the Marriott Marquis has previously been seen with this amenity set so that would be my best guess for this one.Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. Viviane Posted October 4, 2013 Author Report Posted October 4, 2013 Can I see the reservation in the Holiday Inn Express website? I have tried to access with the confirmation number wich priceline sent me and my last name, but the website says that there isn't any reservation with this number.
thereuare Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 As far as i know you can't see your reservation on the hotel's website, but if you're looking to confirm your reservation you can call the hotel to ensure that they have your booking... it would also be a good time to confirm that the room assigned is able to accommodate 2adults/1child as per your reservation with HOTWIRE.Almost at the exact location as your hotel, but on 47th Street is theSullivan Street Bakery533 West 47th StreetNew York, NY 10036... it's worth a stop in and trying any of the breads they have which have recently come out of the oven (they're known for their 'pizzas' which are not really pizza at all, and their items is always good, but it's really specially when you can get something warm or fresh out of the oven)Have a great trip. Viviane Posted October 6, 2013 Author Report Posted October 6, 2013 I have called and my reservation is confirmed. Thanks for the advise about the bakery. I am sure I will eat something there, because I really love this kind of food.
