Priceline Hotel: TS Hotel New York

Hi I am looking for a 4* hotel in either TS or MTW on oct1-7. I am hoping to get it for $200 or less per night. I have bid up to 201 so far and still no luck.

Is this possible?

At this point, $200 is unfortunately unlikely - I think you're probably looking at $240-260, and possibly a tad higher. The Fall in NYC is traditionally a busy/expensive period. Is $200 your max? Would other zone/s be acceptable?

As you're finding, at current rates it doesn't appear that $200 will be enough in one of these two zones... but i do see how you can get a 4* hotel in the Times Square zone for $225/nite, are you able to stretch your budget a bit?

If so, PRICELINE EXPRESS has a 4* hotel in the Times Square zone (with a 9.0/10.0 user review and Restaurant, Free Internet, Business Center, Fitness Center) for $250/nite... but using the discount code link in my signature gives you an additional 10% OFF bringing your equivalent bid price down to $225/nite.

Yes I did see that deal and was thinking about booking it. I just wanted to know if it was possible to get any cheaper if I wait? Any idea what hotel it might be?

I'm seeing a different listing in TS when searching this afternoon for these dates for $311. Purchase timing is discussed in the FAQ - there is no way to know if rate/s will come down closer to your date/s, but traditionally this is a busy/expensive time.

Besides the price going up, the other risk is that this PRICELINE EXPRESS offer disappears entirely, which it appears to have. :(

Hopefully this, or something else of interest, will re-appear... are TS and MTW the only acceptable zones, or are there other zone(s) you're willing to stay?
