Hiren327 Posted September 3, 2013 Report Posted September 3, 2013 I am checking in on October 3 and checking out on October 7, 2013. I would like a 5* place on the north strip or south strip vicinity. Not interested in the Trump tower. What would be the lowest bid that would likely win such a hotel? What would be the lowest bid that would likely win me a 4* hotel in these same zones?Does anyone know how busy Vegas is during my visit dates? Is this considered off-peak?Thanks for your time and help.

Hiren327 Posted September 3, 2013 Author Report Posted September 3, 2013 I would like to keep it at less than 150 per night including the resort fee.
thereuare Posted September 3, 2013 Report Posted September 3, 2013 How about this...PRICELINE EXPRESS has a 4* hotel in the Strip South zone for $103/nite (this is the least expensive 4* or better in either the Strip North or Strip South zone). Using the discount link code in my signature gives you an extra 10% off and brings the all-in total to $137/nite. (room rate equivalent to a $93/nite bid price ($103-10%))Do you want to go with this PRICELINE EXPRESS offer OR do you want to try bidding on PRICELINE up to a rate of $92/nite?Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Hiren327 Posted September 3, 2013 Author Report Posted September 3, 2013 Any idea which hotel the express deal is for? I would rather try bidding if it means a lower price for me.
thereuare Posted September 3, 2013 Report Posted September 3, 2013 When bidding 4* in Las Vegas you have FOUR re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Strip North...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $73, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $78, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 4* Strip South...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $73, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $78, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 4* Strip North and Strip South...Bid $83, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $88, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $93Any questions feel free to ask. If the above is rejected then take the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal using the 10% OFF link in my signature. The PRICELINE EXPRESS property shows the following amenities: Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Restaurant, Free Parking, Business Center, Casino, Fitness Center... these are very common for Las Vegas but Tresuare Island seems to come up frequently and that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. Hiren327 Posted September 3, 2013 Author Report Posted September 3, 2013 Thanks for the advice. What would it cost for a 5*? I know I said 150 for the budget but I may stretch a little if I can get a 5* place.
thereuare Posted September 3, 2013 Report Posted September 3, 2013 At current rates i think a 5* (that is not the Trump) in the Strip North zone would like run $190-$210, more likely at the upper end of that range than the lower end. The range drops to $175-$195 if you're also willing to bid the Strip South zone. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how you'd like to proceed (or how it goes if you proceed with the bidding above) and how we can be of further help.
