I am attending an event at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in April and plans are set in stone, so I figured I'd get a jump on and try to get a room (seeing as rooms recently went for $50).

4* O'Hare only: $50---no luck, but they offered me something for $14 more.

4* O'Hare plus Midway (no 4 stars at Midway on that date): $52--nope

4* O'Hare/Midway/Evanston (another safe rebid zone): $54--nope

All of the other rebid zones have 4 stars available on that date.

Perhaps I'll give it another few months, as I'm in no big rush.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

I would give $55 a try on your next bidding cycle as that may be all that is needed... and for an extra dollar you can know that your plans are settled and not have to think about it for the next 6 months.

Ba-Woosh! I was a little nervous of getting something other than the Hyatt (though it would've been acceptable), but this is excellent.

I just bid 4 star, O'Hare, first bid got it at $55.
