Hotel and rooms have lots of character and they offer a nightly cocktail hour. Earlier this month, I stayed at a sister property, Hotel Burnham, that I also booked on their web site. Yesterday I began bidding at $80 and bid up to $130 with no success (Also bid 4* in Franklin Park, Hyde Park, Midway Airport, Midway Airport North, and Skokie because there is no 4*). I wanted the MP area because we're going to try and catch a show after we drop our daughter off at the train station, which is also in the MP area. All the hotel rates are really high for this weekend, as it's Labor Day weekend. Today I started my bidding again at $80 and won it right away. I guess it pays to be patient.
