Priceline Hotel: New Orleans 1/18/14-1/18/20

Looking for a 3 or 4 star hotel in a safe neighbor hood. Any tips on parking. I've noticed most hotels charge 25-30 a night per car. My family and I are going on a cruise and staying in NOLA two days before. Any tips would be appreciated.

What would be your desired budget per night for this stay and how many people are in the party? Unfortunately, pricey parking is common in most cities these days.

Look in to direct booking with hotel. Some will offer Stay and cruise parking.

If not, any of the 3 stars and up downtown/convention center will suffice. It's not a dangerous area.

We would love to get a 3-4 star hotel for around $60-$75. There is six of us going. Needing two rooms.

PRICELINE only guarantees one bed/double occupancy. Is the possibility of one bed per room an acceptable risk?

Priceline has a three star $88 fitness center and restraunt in Downtown area. Any idea to what hotel this might be?
