luismex Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 I recently took a trip to Vegas and i used Hotwire on this forum to make my purchase. see details below:NOTE: this hotel had and additional $28 resort fee on top of the per night fee which is charged once you leave the hotel.$100/ per nightSpa Services Resort Free ParkingPet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Fitness CenterPool(s) Restaurant(s) Business CenterHigh-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis NearbyKitchenetteHotelRate per night: $100.00Nights: 3Rooms: 1Tax recovery charges & fees: $48.50Subtotal: $348.50Trip total: $348.50I stayed at the Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas this hotel is very nice, however please note their pool is not as nice when compared to other pools from other 5 start hotels in the area. Also for all you gamblers this hotel does not have a casino. My wife and i like the room it was very nice mini suite, the only problem we had was that anytime we wanted to go to the other casinos/hotels we had to take a cab, the cab fees added up very quick. So next time i go to Vegas i will try to avoid this hotel at all cost due to the fact that is about 1 block away from the main strip and i was spending around $40 - $50 on a daily basis on cabs. However if you prefer you can always walk and save the the cab fees....:)
AaronJB Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 Congrats on your success. :)Nice deal for this property although sorry to hear that it was a mixed result.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 TWO TIPS for others who are booked at or considering this property:1) the hotel runs scheduled shuttle service to the strip, so while not 'on demand', you if yo can time it correctly you might be able to get away with no (or at least only one-way) cab fare2) it is walkable to the strip, but not a very nice/scenic walk... so you can cross the street from the hotel entrance and enter the Fashion Show mall where you can walk indoors (air conditioned which is very welcomed during the summer months) and be indoors and have a nice walk to the casinos/stripPlease use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
