thereuare Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet please start by reading your messages.Unfortunately we have not yet seen a 5* hotel reported to the board in this zone... the Peninsula Chicago, Park Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, and Waldorf Astroria are all within this zone so this would seem to be amount the likely possibilities, but unsure which one of these (or some other hotel 5* rated by HOTWIRE)AaronJB is local to the area and he may be able to add more insight. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. David_Chicago Posted August 28, 2013 Author Report Posted August 28, 2013 Thanks for the help. I'll take a look at those hotels you listed and see if it's worth getting a base room there or upgrading to something more at a 4* hotel. If I do end up going through HOTWIRE, I will post the results here.
AaronJB Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 I'd guess the Park Hyatt, Four Seasons or Ritz are the more likely three for the 5*.While the 5*'s in Chicago are nice, the 4 and 4.5*'s for these date/s look very reasonable - I'm seeing what appears to be the new (renovated former Sutton Place) Thompson for $117.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 If I do end up going through HOTWIRE, I will post the results here. Please conclude this thread with whatever you decide to do for this stay... even if it's not PRICELINE or HOTWIRE (and please check our Support Page should you decide to book direct)Also, if you haven't yet, please read your messages.Thanks.
