harry79 Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Am planning to be in Vegas on Nov 10, coming back Nov 12. Girlfriend's birthday is on Nov 11 - she really likes Venetian so want to get it at least for that day or both nights if the rate is good. Any suggestions regarding the bidding strategy would be appreciated. Thanks!
thereuare Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding!Do you have a maximum bid in mind?Rates are very high ($500+) for the first nite of your stay (and over $200 for the 2nd nite). You could book the first nite HERE for $258/nite and then i have an idea to get the 2nd nite for a little less than $200... but not sure if these figures are within your budget for each or both nites.Let us know. harry79 Posted October 8, 2005 Author Report Posted October 8, 2005 Thats well beyond my budget. I was thinking more on the lines of $150. If its that expensive, I am willing to be flexible (maybe Bellagio). If 5* on the strip absolutely impossible in this range, what is the next best option for me ? Like I said earlier, since Nov 11 is my girlfriends birthday, I would like a nice place at least on that particular day but within certain limits :)Thanks for your help.
thereuare Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 For the first nite if you have a players card you can book the first nite at the MGM as discussed in this LAS VEGAS thread. The Excalibur is also available that first nite for just $62/nite.The Venetian offer (for under $200 which i was going to combine with the above to bring your average cost to less than $150/nite) is no longer available, so you may want to consider the Monte Carlo for your entire stay to make it easy and can be had for $142/nite.
