Hotwire Hotel: 4* London (The City - Tower Bridge) H10 London Waterloo

First I started by clicking on the HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links that are routinely posted by Administrator "thereuare".

I am looking for help identifying a hotel in London in the 4* London : City of London - Towerbridge - St. Pauls Cathedral area.

My dates of stay are September 25 - 29, 2013. The amenities are currently listed as the following:

Free Internet

Pet friendly

Smoke Free Rooms

Business Center

Laundry Facilities (self-service)

High-Speed Internet Access

Accessible path of travel

It has a 4.5 out of 5.0 on TripAdvisor and 90% favorable reviews on Hotwire.

I was also looking for help identifying the 3* hotel in the same area, but I figured that might warrant a different thread.

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

The easiest way to see the complete list of amenities is to do a search at BiddingHelper.com and use the new "Hotwire Easy View" tab... do you now see more amenities then you have listed above?

I checked the BiddingHelper.com link, and using the Hotwire Easy View tab it listed the following amenities:

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

Accessible path of travel

In-room accessibility

Wheelchair accessible

Accessible bathroom

Roll-in shower

That does list a few more amenities, but only those in terms of accessible rooms. I'm not sure how helpful that is. Does anyone have any ideas?

The accessible amenities are part of the amenity set and we always need the complete list of amenities in order to research (this also confirms that we are both seeing the same hotel on our searches)

The Bermondsey Square Hotel would be my best guess for this one.

I don't have a guess or any insight into this 3* property.

Keep in mind that star ratings in Europe are a bit more generous then their US counterparts, and 3* hotel may be more like a 2*/2.5* in the US.

With a 4.5/5.0 TA rating for the 4* property above, why not that one?

You have a good point. Even thought it's a little further, I'm thinking of booking that 4*. Either way, I will let everyone know what I end up doing.

It ends up that because of other arrangements, I only needed to book a hotel for one night. I clicked on the same four star that we discussed before. For Wednesday, September 25, 2013 to Thursday, September 26, 2013, the rate rose to $192 for the night. There was $51.72 in taxes and fees for a total of $243.72.

The hotel was the following:

H10 London Waterloo

284 to 302 Waterloo Road

London,GB

The website lists the booking costs, taxes included as:

Booking cost (taxes included):

$ 271.18

£ 175.00

Given that, I'm not sure this was much of a savings, but it does look like a nice hotel.

For the list, the amenities were the following:

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

Spa Services

Accessible bathroom
