Priceline Hotel: Bidding Help for this weekend 8/24-8/25

I am heading out to Vegas this weekend to see Calvin Harris play at Hakkasan in the MGM Grand. We are looking for hotels and trying to keep it under $100 or $110. I have submitted bids for 5 star Strip-North hoping for Wynn, Venetian, and Palazzo but have been unsuccessful all the way up to $110. We are looking for a place with a nice pool. Any ideas? Should I be looking Strip South Vicinity and submit a bid to get Mandalay Bay? I was scared to drop to 4 stars strip south as I really don't want to stay at the Trop, Monte Carlo, or the Westin. All suggestions appreciated. Thanks

What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? I think you're probably looking at $140-150 (although it's worth trying lower) for a 5* in the strip North area and probably $115-125 for a 5* in Strip South. If the Trump is acceptable, that can probably be had for under a hundred.
