Hotwire Hotel: 4* New York City (Midtown East) Affinia 50

Hello,

I am looking to plan a trip to NYC, arriving on 9/13 and leaving on 9/15 - I would like to spend no more than $550 in total. I found these two hotels on hotwire.com but with there being so many 4 star hotels, I'm having a hard time narrowing it down and was hoping you can help me.

Here are the details:

1) Midtown Central - 4 star @ $179 (Other sites at $318)

4* MTC - I'd guess a new amenity set for the Sheraton would be a possibility.

4* MTE - I'd guess the Roosevelt would certainly be a possibility.

I agree that the 4* MTC may likely be the Sheraton... but my guess for the 4* MTE property would be the Doubletree Metropolitan.

The Affinia 50 is a very nice hotel with very good reviews.

Can you confirm if you win this by bidding on PRICELINE, PRICELINE EXPRESS, or a 'retail' listing where you knew the name of the hotel before purchase?

I purchased it through PRICELINE, but I was able to see the name of the hotel name so it wasnt the name your price section
