As always, I used this site's PRICELINE link to start my bid.

I won the Residence Inn Washington, DC Downtown hotel for $65 per night.

First, I checked Priceline's Express Deals section to see that there was a hotel in this area at this star level for $81 per night. Using that information, I decided to bid using the Name Your Own Price feature. My first bid at $60 immediately asked me if I would like to raise my bid by $14 to $74 and re-bid. I declined, and instead I added another zone (Cleveland Park) and re-bid at $65 for a successful win. I am very happy with this hotel as I have stayed at various Residence Inn locations before and love their chain's amenities! :)
