Welcome to BetterBidding!

If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages.

My best guess for the MTE property would be the Kimberly Hotel and for the Chelsea property my guess would be the Hotel Indigo Chelsea.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.

Hello,

I would like to bid on two rooms (for 5 people) in MTE, MTW, TS or CH for 9/17-19. Could you please help me bid on 4* or better?

The budget is no more than $200-300/nt for each room. Thank so much.

Trying to use PRICELINE bidding for NYC has a very high risk of not getting two beds - probably the highest risk of any US city of getting only one bed.

HOTWIRE does not guarantee two beds, either - although if you enter that there's going to be three in one room, you should get some form of bedding (2 beds, 1 + sofa, 1 + rollaway) for the party.

Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

PRICELINE is cheaper than HOTWIRE (and PRICELINE Express is usually a bit more expensive than bidding), but HOTWIRE is the best choice in terms of trying to get bedding for more than 2 people in the room. Unfortunately, rooms are just on the small side in NYC, with some hotels at the 3.5-4* level that are as small as 135-165 sq ft - not big enough to fit a rollaway. Two beds (or even King bed in some cases) is often an upgrade in NYC and there have been instances reported to the board where users were not given the option to pay the difference (which is sometimes an option - paying the difference between the regular rate for a single bed room and a room w/2 double beds.) You may luck out and be able to work something out, but in NYC it's very likely no for two beds (especially during a busier period.)

PRICELINE Express listings sometimes do offer a "bed choice", but note that if two beds is an option it is "two beds requested". Given the "requested" aspect, two beds is a "request" and not a 110% guarantee. Still, this is certainly an option to consider.

Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
