Hello,

I am looking to get a 4 star room in Hollywood area and am willing to go to $140. Is this feasible? How nice are the 3.5* and if I go that direction how should I bid? (New to this board!)

I have currently bid

5* Beverly Hills: $100

4.5* bh/hollywood: $110

4*: bh/hollywood: $115

then added Englewood, Culver City and USC and am at $135.00

I can't bid anymore without going up in price and adding a 3.5*.

Oh, and I'm aiming for this Tuesday thru Thursday! Yikes. Help?

Thanks!

Welcome to Betterbidding.

I would not bid in this fashion (or go higher as you go lower.) Please read this thread about Priceline Rebidding. Let us know if you need further clarification.

Unfortunately, rates are high for these dates and $140 or less in Hollywood is going to be difficult - if not unrealistic/unlikely (especially at the 4* level and probably at the 3.5* level.)

Are any other zone/s acceptable?
