thomeplay Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 Hello,I am looking to get a 4 star room in Hollywood area and am willing to go to $140. Is this feasible? How nice are the 3.5* and if I go that direction how should I bid? (New to this board!)I have currently bid5* Beverly Hills: $1004.5* bh/hollywood: $1104*: bh/hollywood: $115then added Englewood, Culver City and USC and am at $135.00I can't bid anymore without going up in price and adding a 3.5*. Oh, and I'm aiming for this Tuesday thru Thursday! Yikes. Help? Thanks!
AaronJB Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding.I would not bid in this fashion (or go higher as you go lower.) Please read this thread about Priceline Rebidding. Let us know if you need further clarification.Unfortunately, rates are high for these dates and $140 or less in Hollywood is going to be difficult - if not unrealistic/unlikely (especially at the 4* level and probably at the 3.5* level.)Are any other zone/s acceptable?Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted August 19, 2013 Report Posted August 19, 2013 ... and if you haven't yet please read your messages.Using our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best deal you're able to find at a 4* or better in one of these acceptable zones? Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
